The Barbaric Executions of Alfred Jodl and WIlhelm Keitel after World War 2

Alfred Jodl and Wilhelm Keitel, two of the highest-ranking Nazi military leaders, were sentenced to death by the Nuremberg Trials for their roles in orchestrating the atrocities of World War II. Both men were found guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity, including their involvement in planning aggressive wars, enabling the Holocaust, and approving brutal actions against prisoners of war and civilian populations. Their executions were meant to symbolize justice for the countless victims of the Third Reich, but the manner of their deaths has been described by some as barbaric and controversial.
