The Hunt For Himmler: Suicide Or Murder?
Two weeks after the end of WW2 Heinrich Himmler, head of the SS and the Gestapo, killed himself while being interrogated by the British. On the face of it, his death looked like straightforward suicide. As the mastermind behind the Final Solution, no one mourned Himmler’s passing. But it was not long before rumours began to spread. As the extent of Himmler’s atrocities became known, the allies were determined to bring him to justice. They intended to put him on trial for his life. Credit to: The World History Channel
