The Man the Navy Couldn’t Control
It’s bad enough that they let Roy Boehm become a US Navy officer. Now, someone had the bright idea to let this enlisted smart aleck run his own unit.
The cocky lieutenant thinks he can take America’s regular frogmen and turn them into some kind of all-rounder special ops force – sailors, soldiers, spies, and saboteurs all rolled into one.
To make matters worse, he thinks he can play by his own rules, modifying diving gear without permission and even buying AR-15s on the open market. Now the Navy brass wants to shut his unit down before it’s even done training.
But President Kennedy is prepared to give Boehm and his so-called Navy SEALs one last chance – if they can make it back from a daring mission into Castro’s Cuba…
