The Nazi Colony in Eastern Europe: Reichskommissariat Ostland

When Nazi Germany conquered the Baltic States and parts of Belarus in 1941, Berlin did not see these territories as future allies or independent states. Instead, they were folded into a single colonial administration: Reichskommissariat Ostland.
