Luke Tomes gets special access to a selection of incredible artefacts related to British hero Vice-Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson, including a part of the white ensign flown by HMS Victory at the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805, a lock of hair taken from his Nelson’s pigtail and presented to Captain Hardy, a front page newspaper headline ‘extraordinary’ reporting on the death of Nelson in 1805 and an original architectural plan of Nelson’s Column in Trafalgar Square dating to 1843.
