What Happened to the Soviet Women Captured by the Germans?

When Nazi Germany invaded the Soviet Union in 1941, thousands of Soviet women were captured by German forces. These prisoners, whether soldiers, partisans, or civilians, were subjected to inhumane treatment. Many were sent to prisoner-of-war camps, where they suffered from starvation, disease, forced labor, and brutality. Some were transferred to concentration camps like Ravensbrück or Auschwitz, where they became subjects of medical experiments or were simply executed. Credit to : WW2 Legends
