History Documentaries

The battles between England and France are among the most famous of the medieval period, including the Battle of Hastings in 1066, the Norman invasion of England, and the Battle of Agincourt in 1415. The Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066 saw King Harold defeating an invasion from Norway, but shortly after, he faced Duke William of Normandy at the Battle of Hastings. The Battle of Agincourt in 1415 was a significant English victory against the French during the Hundred Years’ War, largely attributed to the effectiveness of English archers and strong leadership by King Henry V.
