Throughout the Medieval period, there were many Queens of England who were dominated by their husbands who ruled as Kings. They were women who were consorts and had little power if any to change the fortunes of their nation, but they were seen by many as women who’s job it was to give birth to the heirs and the next King to rule over England. At the end of the Battle of Bosworth Field, the Wars of the Roses had come to an end.
